1. Is Trig Point making Ford Ranger Super Duty canopies and trays?

Yes — Trig Point is producing Ford Ranger Super Duty canopies and trays. We are already well underway with production and expect to fit the first models within weeks of the official vehicle release.

2. Are Trig Point canopies compatible with Ford Ranger Super Duty tech, such as blind spot monitoring and weight scales?

Yes — all Trig Point Ford Ranger Super Duty canopies are fully compatible with Ford technology, including blind spot monitoring.

• Weight scales are a new feature on the Super Duty; while we haven’t tested them yet, they operate via the rear suspension, so we don’t anticipate interference from our trays or canopies.
  

3. Are Trig Point Ford Ranger Super Duty canopies rated for higher payloads?

Yes — our Ford Ranger Super Duty canopies are built for higher payloads, just like our canopies for LandCruisers, Silverados, and Rams with GVMs of 4500 kg or more.

4. Do you anticipate any weight distribution or handling issues with such a high payload on a standard Ford Ranger Super Duty dual cab wheelbase?

No — provided the Ford Ranger Super Duty is packed and loaded correctly.

• The Ranger already offers excellent weight distribution for its class.
  
• Heavy items should be stored low and toward the front.
  
• Our canopies and trays are designed to be as short as possible (1700mm for dual cab), maximising balance and stability.
  

5. What is the price of the Ford Ranger Super Duty Tray?

Pricing for the Ford Ranger Super Duty range:

• Chassis mount canopy: starting at $18,890 (inc GST)
  
• Super Duty tray: starting at $10,690 (inc GST)
  Features and inclusions are consistent with our existing Next Gen Ranger canopies and trays.
  

6. What models will the Ford Ranger Super Duty Tray be available for?

The Super Duty tray will be available for:

7. Do you install the Ford Ranger Super Duty Tray?

8. Why are your Ford Ranger Super Duty Canopies 1865mm wide and not 1950mm like some other manufacturers?

As with all our canopies and trays, we fit the cabin profile of the vehicle. This not only looks better, yet also reduces wind noise, fuel usage and maintains visibility out the rear view mirrors.
We find that the larger tray size is not worth these drawbacks for the vast majority of users.
