The Trig Point Chassis Mount Canopy for the 2022+ Ford Ranger is built to handle serious 4×4 touring without adding unnecessary weight. Mounting directly to the chassis (no tray required) keeps the canopy floor low and the overall build lighter, while the monocoque construction maximises internal storage. Integrated 300kg-rated roof racks, dual gull-wing doors, and two tapered underbody boxes make it easy to carry everything from camping gear to recovery equipment, and the fully sealed, dust and waterproof design means it’s ready for whatever the trip throws at it. Manufactured in Melbourne and fully ADR compliant.

Made Tough

  • Direct chassis mounting, no tray required, reducing weight and canopy floor height
  • Monocoque construction removes the need for an internal frame and increases storage areas whilst giving the perfect balance between light weight and durability
  • Water and dustproof fully sealed canopy and toolbox doors
  • Integrated roof racks with 300kg load rating reducing overall vehicle height and improving fuel efficiency
  • Trimmed carpet flooring
  • Recessed rear LED lights to reduce risk of damage

Made Smart

  • Completely flush canopy floor with no lips to make loading and unloading a breeze
  • Single handed opening with slam shut locks designed to function the same way as modern car doors
  • Fully lockable with main canopy doors integrated with vehicle central locking
  • Two large gull wing doors to give you easy access to the large internal space, fully recessed to give a smooth exterior finish
  • Two under body boxes, tapered to improve departure angle
  • Door ajar buzzer to reduce risk of accidental damage
  • Recessed air vents to cool and circulate air through the canopy
  • 12V power outlet, fuse box and rear power distribution for additional accessories

What’s the difference between a chassis mount and a tray mount canopy? +

A chassis mount canopy attaches directly to the vehicle’s chassis rails, removing the need for a separate tray. This reduces overall weight and lowers the canopy floor height compared to a tray-mounted setup.

How much weight can the roof racks carry? +

The integrated roof racks are rated to 300kg, giving you a secure platform for rooftop tents, awnings, or extra storage.

Is the canopy weatherproof? +

Yes. The canopy and toolbox doors are fully sealed against water and dust, so your gear stays protected in all conditions.

Can I get the canopy in a colour to match my vehicle? +

The standard finish is durable black powder coat, with optional colour-coded paint available to match your vehicle.

Does the canopy work with the vehicle’s central locking? +

Yes, the main canopy doors integrate with the vehicle’s central locking system, and a door-ajar buzzer helps prevent accidental damage from doors left open.

What’s the difference between the dual cab and extra cab versions? +

The extra cab version is longer (1990mm vs 1700mm) and includes front undertray toolboxes as standard, giving you additional storage up front.

Will I be able to refuel using a high-flow pump? +

In most cases, you will not be able to refuel using a high-flow pump. High-flow diesel pumps generally exceed the flow rate of the tank breather and filler neck. While some original tub mounted fuel filler arrangements may have tolerated high-flow pumps, relocating the fuel filler lower to create space for the tray will generally stop this. Our fuel filler systems are engineered for use with standard-flow service station pumps. If you must refuel with a high-flow diesel pump, it may be possible by using it at part trigger and by slightly tilting the nozzle to reduce the sensitivity of the shut-off valve.
