The original Mighty 79 is one of the most iconic builds in the 4WD industry. Michael Ellem from Offroad Images is a photographer specializing in 4WD’s and travels to the most remote areas of the country capturing spectacular images. The Mighty 79 has been the workhorse for Michael since 2018 and has covered more than 300,000kms.

The Vehicle

With the goal of building the ultimate camera truck, Michael put significant time into considering the right vehicle to meet Offroad Images needs. The 79 series Landcruiser was chosen for its ability to be turned into absolutely anything with the right accessories. THE CANOPY

The Mighty 79’s chassis mount canopy serves two main functions, catering and housing camera equipment.
